I am trying to fund my education. The student loans that I have do not cover everything I ened. I decided to search the web to see if I could find some grants, so that I could get funds that I would not have to pay back.
I found a site that would send you a CD and all you had to pay was shipping of $2.98, I think I paid less than that. Then I noticed today about a week after I got the CD a charge of $69.95 pending on my account. I called my bank to see what it was for and if the was a number that I could call. The bank rep told me to wait make sure the charge posted before I could do anything.
I decided to do another search and found these other reports about the same service. Now nowhere on any of their information in their Privacy policy or terms is there a mention of a monthly fee of $69.95. I am not going to bother search for a number to call in hopes that when I file the report with my bank that the matter will be resolved.
