Aside from taking over a year and a half to answer this the mechanic's statement was also uploaded to org. complaint. Note the mechanic statement was very shortly after purchase. 

The DMV did not dismiss complaint due to it being "false" the official reason was that since the statement was that despite the mechanic's recommendation they did not have the expertise to know if that was their prior despite how soon after purchase the report was done.

On a personal note, I told him the same night I got it that it was making noises and he refused to answer until I filed with the DMV and you can tell by his timely response on here (1.5 years) that ensuring customers aren't getting screwed is not high on the priority list. 

As of today, June 24, 2017, I, Bob Assadi, have been in the car business in Las Vegas, Nevada as an owner, salesman, manager, and/or purchaser at new and used car lots.  To this day, there isn't a single complaint against me on file with the BBB, Nevada DMV, or any other regulatory agency; nor has my $100,000 DMV bond ever been attached.  The DMV dismissed this phony claim and congratulated me on a spotless record over 12 years (at the time), which is unheard of in Las Vegas, Nevada.
