I purchased a vehicle on 5 November from Deals on Wheels. That night i took it over to my friend's house to "show off my new truck" When we noticed a kocking sound coming from the truck. My friend who is an ASE certified mechanic stated he thought it was the rod since it was lower engine noise... but he did not have a stethascop so i brought it up to Mr. Babak Assadi on 6 november.
He tried to assure me that everything was fine and it was a "perfect truck" however the sound was not getting any better so on my first day off (9 November) the mechanic did an inspection of the truck and confirmed that it is lower end noise. Without pulling the engine apart he stated that it was indeed either the crank or the rods... either way the engine was on it's last leg. I messaged Mr. Babak Assadi on 9 November at 12:14 in the afternoon letting him know I had taken it to a mechanic and that it was not "piston slap" as he tried to play it off as but there was metal in the freshly changed oil already so it was indeed a major defect in the automobile. He did not respond until after I filed a complaint with the DMV against his license, the BBB and started posted warnings to other people who could be taken in by him.
I had also sent a copy of the complaints and all messages between us both to the bank he works with generally and they were shocked and appaled that he has done nothing to fix this as it is a big deal. and have marked him as a fraud and will no longer let their clients fill loans to him.
Nevada it is required that dealers provide an accurate engine and drive train inspection and to disclose any possible major defects before purchase. Mr. Babak Assadi did no such thing. While perhaps I should have been more vigulant I beleived that a licenesed dealer would be legit. I am a disabled vet on a tight income and this happened to fit into my budget. The truck is currently running however I dont know how long it will last. the knocking keeps getting worse.

Aside from taking over a year and a half to answer this the mechanic's statement was also uploaded to org. complaint. Note the mechanic statement was very shortly after purchase.
The DMV did not dismiss complaint due to it being "false" the official reason was that since the statement was that despite the mechanic's recommendation they did not have the expertise to know if that was their prior despite how soon after purchase the report was done.
On a personal note, I told him the same night I got it that it was making noises and he refused to answer until I filed with the DMV and you can tell by his timely response on here (1.5 years) that ensuring customers aren't getting screwed is not high on the priority list.

This Completely Bogus Claim Was Dismissed by the DMV

As of today, June 24, 2017, I, Bob Assadi, have been in the car business in Las Vegas, Nevada as an owner, salesman, manager, and/or purchaser at new and used car lots. To this day, there isn't a single complaint against me on file with the BBB, Nevada DMV, or any other regulatory agency; nor has my $100,000 DMV bond ever been attached. The DMV dismissed this phony claim and congratulated me on a spotless record over 12 years (at the time), which is unheard of in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Deals on Wheels is a Nevada Used Car Dealer, bonded for $100,000.00 to protect you against fraud and misrepresentation. We specialize in reliable high mileage vehicles for locals, and low mileage vehicles that are still under warranty for locals and customers, nationwide.
Contact me at 702-767-8788 with the exact year, make, model, trim, condition, and mileage of the vehicle that you're looking for and watch me beat any dealer's price, sometimes by thousands (on luxury vehicles).
I'll also sell your good condition Japanese vehicle or domestic 4-door truck at a Manheim Auction near you for close to KBB Private Party Price, minus $200 for my services, and whatever the particular auction's sell fee might be. You come out way ahead vs trading it in at a dealership.
If interested, simply email: bob@sellmethecar.com :D
For the record, on a personal level, I found this customer to be very likeable and thanked her repeatedly for her service. God bless!
