Debt Relief Of America Withdraw money from checking account to assist in paying off my credit card debts. Dallas Texas

Dra were suppose to assist me in resolving my credit card debt. They set up an account to withdraw $656.78 a month from my checking account for 36 consecutive months. They charged an administative fee of $3900, which is 10% of total debt owed. The 1st payment began October 17, 2006.

Dra stopped taking payments from my account in March, 2007. They stopped for whatever reason. I noticed in August, 2007 that the payments were no longer being taken from my account.

I contacted Dra and inquired why the payments had stopped, the representative on the phone replied "Ops, someone dropped the ball on this one". I informed them that I was going to be unemployed as of October so let the ball remain dropped. There was no reason given why the payments stopped.

Since Dra never negotiated any of my credit card debt, they just took my money,I feel the so
called "administrative fee" should be refunded to me. They never negotiated one of my accounts, therefore, what is the administrative fee for? They only messed up my credit in good fashion.

Dra broke the contract when they stopped taking the money from my account. It was their intention to extact the money for their fee and forget the rest, that is exactly what they did.

I was told by Dra that they cannot refund the "administrative fee". I infomed them that they never administered anything for me so why should you retain my money.

I contacted the Better Business Bureau and they have 91 complaints against them, none have been resolved. They are not a member of the bureau. This company needs to be exposed for what they are, they are ripoff artists.
