DebtXS Debt settlement co tells you not to contact creditors and take all the phone calls, they do nothing but take your money until you are about to be sued by the creditors. Frisco Texas

I signed up with "KnockOutDebt.com" as a debt settlement co. They went over my info and wanted to get me "locked in" at the balances I owed then. Now I owe 3K more to one co because of interest and fees. Once I was in this it turned into DebtXS in Texas. Knockoutdebt was listed in Colorado.

I was told not to pay, not to talk to creditors that it was part of the process. To tell them I was considering settlement or working with a settlement co would only slow down the process or "make the creditors" mad.

Now I am on the brink of a lawsuit with bankruptcy my best option, and they have (DebtXS) have $1800 of my hard earned money that could have gone to the filing and I would have been DONE by now. When I contacted DebtXS to inform them of my situation and that I was leaving the program, they let me out or so they said, but when I mentioned refunds, they said there was a "review" process in accounting that could take up to 30 days after which I would get "a Letter". You see, they are not sure yet I am eligible for a refund.

I am getting a refund alright. All of it. I have already filed a complaint with the Texas District Attorney and I will do what it takes because its my money and they essentially STOLE it for me because NO WAY have they done $1800 worth of work for me since Oct. 2006. I am getting a refund and hopefully more so when they are sued!!

I would advise NO ONE to sign up for this company. In addition, they will let you talk to a lawyer in your area for legal advice for a fee of $35. Guess what ? I got a FREE consultation with a lawyer in my area, thank you very much. That I set up myself.
