I sent in my Dell Alienware computer for repair.

They sent me a box to send my laptop back in. I took the box, put on their shipping label, put my laptop in it, then dropped it off at my post office's Fed Ex box. That was January 11-12th(I dropped it off in the evening, I imagine it was picked up in the morning of the 12th).

Repair and send back is supposed to take 7-10 business days. I called a week later. They told me it was still being repaired. (Week of January 15th)

I called the week after. They told me just a bit longer, Christmas was really backing them up (January 21st).

I called a few days later and their tune changed. Now they had no idea where my computer was. And they told me I had to call Fed Ex to try and find it, or they wouldn't help me. Despite my protests of this making no sense, I complied (January 25thish).

I called Fed Ex the next day and they were flabberghasted. They get calls from Dell all the time, but they couldn't give me any information about the package because Dell is the one who paid for and printed the shipping label.  (Jan 26)

I was forced to wait another day in which I got a three way call with a Dell representative and a Fed Ex representative, after a lengthy explanation the Fed Ex representative said she'd try to track the package down. (January 27th).

Got a call the following Monday (January 30th), and the Fed Ex lady said the package was lost and I should contact Dell. So I called them and a manager told me the other representatives dropped the ball and he'd get to the bottom of this. He needed three business days, he told me. So I gave them to him.

The manager took more then three business days, he told me that he'd get back to me on Friday of that week with a definite answer (Feb1st).

I called that Friday, and I was told the manager was in a meeting. Then I called again and he was gone for another week, then I was hung up on (Feb 3rd).

I called the following day, outraged (Feb 4th), another manager said she'd definitely get to me Monday or Tuesday morning at the VERY latest.

I didn't get a call on Monday, and right now it's past Tuesday morning at time of writing. I call and am told they are all "In a meeting", and can't call me. They can't put me on hold because it'd take too long but they ALSO can't tell me how long the meeting is.

So here I am, out a couple thousand dollars, with a company who constantly is giving me the run-around. So I'm spending my time today posting on every site like this I can. Because really. I can't think of anything else to do.
