Delta Mechanical Overinflated Prices and Will Not Honor Lowest Price Gurantee Golden Colorado

In late July 2014, we called Home Depot to ask about water heater installation, they offered a free consultation that we chose to take advantage of. They sent over Pauline, the Field Manager from Delta Plumbing to take a look and give us a quota for installation of our water heater. NEar the end of the consultation, he gave us the hefty sum of $2,850 for installation, after our negotiation. This included the installation of an outlet that we already had in place for $350 and a new gas pipe that cost $500. Pauline also said that he offers LOWEST PRICE GUARANTEE which allowed us to find another wuote and he would take 10% off their quote to install. After him, we had two consultations, one for $1550 and another for $2000. We called Pauline and asked him to take a look at these quotes.

During the call, we asked him to honor his guarantee, to which he respnded that he will not look at repairmen from "craigslist". These two consultations were licensed technicians with an A+ BBB rating. After telling us that he will not honor these consultations, he told us to look for another repairman and that he doesn't need our business.

Delta Plumbing lost customers and our good review. Pauline was especially disrespectful and refused to honor anything that he had previosuly promised.
