DFW Move Masters Chris Boothe Ruined My Furniture and Botched My Move Allen, Texas

Please do not use DFW Move Masters owned by Chris Boothe for your move.  I was involved in a very stressful move for a new job and Chris Boothe/DFW Move Masters completel botched my move and distroyed my furniture.  The movers were two hours late and most of the crew did not speak english.  This made itvery hard to give instructions to the crew.  In addition, the moving crew was inexperienced and didn't pack the truck appropriately.  They decided to call it quits around 4:00 pm, told me the truck was full and left heavy furniture in several of my rooms.  I had to rent a UHaul truck at the last minute and stayed up all night trying to move the furniture myself.  

The company I hired to unpack my belongings called me out to view the truck as soon as they opened the door of the trailer.  The truck was packed impropperly and my furniture had fallen in the truck and was scratched and damaged.  I specifically requested to have several pieces of fine art specially wrapped and packed.  Chris Boothe assured me he had moved paintings and fine art and was familiar with the methods of wrapping and moving pieces of that nature.  But, the paintigs were unwrapped and thrown on top of piles of furniture.  The frames were scratched and broken and the canvases were gouged.

I called and emailed Chris repeatedly for several months.  He said he was licenced and bonded and I wanted to file a damage claim.  Chris answered my first call and said he needed to retrieve a paper copy of my contract and would call me backin 15 minutes.  That was the only call he answered.  He ignored every subsequent call and email.

Please, please, please do not use DFW Move Masters or any company Chris Boothe owns.  Patronizing his business is only rewarding dishonest and poor business practices.  He says he is a former military officer and that appeals to many people because it implies he has honor and integrity.  I am from a military family and I am horrified that a person as dishonest and corrupt as Chris Boothe is dirtying image of the armed services.
