DH Gate They do not ship the product after receiving payment from customer. CHINA

DH Gate (dhgate.com) has a very convincing website similar to ebay or amazon where sellers market their wares. Each seller has alleged ratings from previous buyers.

You can establish free account with password. DH Gate promises that seller will not get paid until package is delivered to customer satisfactorily. Their guarantees and buyer protection policies are on numerous pages. 

Once you purchase an item, your email goes inactive. By that, I mean that when you attempt to sign in again, you get error message that password is incorrect (even though it is correct). You have option of resetting password through an email they will send you...except you never get the email. 

Once you can't enter or reset the password, you also cannot contact customer service unless you're signed in. You also cannot contact sellers unless you're signed in. You also cannot check on your order unless you're signed in.

The phone number they give for China can be translated into a California phone number because it starts with one then the next three numbers are a California area code. An actual US to China phone number would begin with 011 (US exit code) then 86 (China code) then the phone number.

Seller has 14-16 days to ship item. Policy says that you are entitled refund if seller does not ship. If you can get in touch with them, they say they will initiate case for refund and then give seller 5 days to approve.

Why would seller have to approve refund when DH Gate is supposed to hold your money from the seller until package is delivered to buyer. DH Gate should immediately issue refund.

Then if seller disagrees with refund, it will go to mitigation. I've seen where many buyers are not ever getting their refunds.

Don't waste your time. Don't buy from this site.
