My report duplicates one reported earlier as follows:
Went on this website to check out their program for $2.97. Looked it over and decided that I wasn't interested in it and left.
Got my credit card bill today with $139.95 charged to my account. Called the number off my credit card that had: DCainter, Belize City, Belize, on it with this phone number:1-877-304-1469 and told the young man that I did not order anything from them and that I wanted a refund.
He told me I was 13 days too late!!!! I said that I wanted my money back and that I would report this company if I didn't get it - he said that they don't do refunds and that I was too late. I kept telling him that I didn't request anything from this site and was not interested in this "company". He just kept telling me that I was too late and they don't do refunds, and that to cancel it I should have called. He said it was a 5-day trial period for the $2.97 and then there would be a charge of $139.95 for, I think, 3 months - can't quite remember the time frame on that - I was so mad I could hardly listen to him.
I told him I never saw anything on that site to indicate that it was a short trial period or that I would need to call and cancel anything. He said it was there. I didn't see it anywhere.
I got so mad, I hung up after many choice words to him.
I cooled down and called back trying again and making sure this account was cancelled.
Got the same answers and then a little more information telling me that it was written in the "Terms and Conditions" and she said that it wasn't their fault that I didn't read them.
I said that I wasn't interested in their website and got out not thinking I had to look at their "Terms and Conditions" since I THOUGHT I was only out $2.97!!!!!!!!
I then called back one more time to see exactly what the hell I was supposed to have received for my $139.95 since I sure didn't get anything in the mail from them.
This lady said it was for my registration fee and access to the website. I had her look it up again to make sure that they had cancelled my account and she said that it was cancelled. It better be!!!
So, don't fall for it!! You think, ah, what the hay, I'll take a look at this thing for $2.97 -no big deal! Guess again.

My experience then differs in that they did give me a credit of $70.00 towards the $139.95 charge and then turned around and charged my card for an additional $39.99 as a monthly fee. I cancelled 30 days earlier. Spent an hour arguing with them on the phone, but to no avail.
I am out $69.99 plus $39.99
