I placed an order on January 27 for a prescription diet medication. At the time of the order, I was asked if I would accept a over the counter substitution if my prescription was denied by their "physician." I checked no on the order form.

On Feb. 7, I sent an e-mail inquiring about my order. An e-mail was sent back to me stating that a Costumer Solution Team member would respond within 24 hours. That never happened. What did happen was on March 7 I received an unauthorized non-prescription product as a replacement. The company said my order had been denied and this was being sent instead. They charged my account $86.95 and wrote on the invoice, "we are unable to accept returns or grant refunds for products."

On the same day I recieved the unauthorized merchandise, I returned the product to them with a letter explaining why I was returning it. I contacted my bank to reverse the charges and was told that I would have to wait 30 days to allow the company a chance to refund my account.

One week later, I recieved the same unauthorized merchandise from Direct Pharmacy with a standard form letter claiming that this order is non-refundable. I then called my bank to cancel my credit card and am in the process of reversing the charges.

This company is a complete scam and I would like to do whatever I can to prevent anyone else from getting ripped off.
