DIRECTV The Multiroom RipOff Internet

DirecTV Multi-room Rip-off, DIRECTV now offers multi-room DVR service. I joined their Bata testing program for some time and it worked great. When this test was over I wished to continue this service. They are now charging $3.00 for this additional service. Although it angers me that DirecTV cannot add a feature without an additional charge, I was willing to pay the $3.00 charge. When I called to add this service the Rip-off came into play. They stated to me that I would have to upgrade my service in the amount of $179.00 to get the Multi-Room service. Remember, I was already using the service, why do I need to upgrade. They told me my equipment must be upgraded in order to use this service, if this were true why did it work great for so long, what a Rip-off from DirecTV!!!!
