DirecTV Direct TV DirecTV Directv Blatantly Overcharges with no apologies -- Go Elsewhere for TV Service El Segundo Nationwide

I have never dealt with a company like DirecTV.

I hope a class action suit is filed against this company for their eggregious billing practices.

When I was being courted into signing up by one of their reps they were very amiable.  Once they have you signed up, they become horrible.

Let me preface by saying that I signed up for a simple packing, thinking I would save money compared to my previous cable provider.... WRONG!!!!!

They sign you up for a bundle of your choice, and then add on several products that they tell you are free for a few months, and if you don't call to cancel they will bill you for them.  Well I knew from the outstart that I was not interested in ever having any premium movie channels, nor any package such as their NFL package.   So I told the rep not to add them, because I did not want the burden of trying to remember to call and cancel them before billing started.

Low and behold, what happened?   You guessed it!  I have recorded conversations where I called to ask them why I was being billed $39 a month for a NFL channel that I did not order.  I didn't even know where to find it!

The rep (which I have recorded) refused to cancel the NFL package, because it was "too far into the NFL" season.  Really!!!   They billed me $240 for this package. 

I have a plethora of other charges too, which are so hard to identify.  Here are the charges from my last bill:

Notice the NFL Sunday ticket charge, the Phone transaction fee, and the XTRA charge.  

I am pullling this service and wil try the new (((REDACTED))) service for $20.
