discounttoneronline.com World Laser, LLC Possible Internet Scam Denver, Colorado

An online order was placed with this vendor through Amazon.com on 2/14/10 for 1 each HP 78 equivalent inkjet cartridge for $10.25 (free shipping advertised).  Thought they were legitimate since the item was located through Amazon.

Received order confirmation that same day via e-mail, which continued to appear legit.  However, had not received additional notices or my order by 2/23.  E-mailed the company at the given address: info@discounttoneronline.com.  Received a relatively quick reply stating that a representative would contact me soon and that my business was valued.

Nothing else heard as of today (3/1/10).  Attempted to e-mail the company again, but discovered the above e-mail address is no longer valid.  Also, tried to call the company at the number provided in their original e-mail, 303-325-2900, but the phone is never answered.

My VISA card was charged for the merchandise effective 2/16/10 by World Laser, LLC of Colorado.  The same telephone number is listed as above on my VISA statement.

Have discovered World Laser, LLC received corporate registration via the Colorado Sec. of State in 2004, but was apparently dissolved in 2005 due to failure to renew annually.  The owner was identified as Ronald C. Tucker.  Mr. Tucker is currently identified as the principal filing agent for Construction Lasers World, LLC in Denver.  Will try to call them tomorrow to further investigate.  It is possible that another person(s) is responsible for using the corporation name since it was dissolved several years ago.

Planning to dispute the charges with VISA, but am required to wait 30 days since an estimated delivery date was never issued by this possibly bogus vendor.
