My beloved 16 years old son with ADD got a cellular a while ago. He was receiving this calls offering $400 worth of prizes that he won. I told him that through those calls the phone companies "eat up" his minutes so that he buys more, that he should not accept incoming calls from unknown persons. He talked to me that it was real and that he wanted me to verify because they are asking for a bank account and he does not have any.
I had forgotten about it when he received another call precisely when I am home so "I grabbed the bull by its horns" and even though I did not understand a word (we are hispanics) of what the guy was saying "I grasped" through my insistence so that I could hear a yes or a no, that they would send a brochure or program for me to look at and IF we did not like it, we could IMMEDIATELY cancel it, so that we would not be billed but we could retain the free gifts, so I surrendered my bank account and mostly because of the suffering that I could perceive in my son's eyes as he believed that he was bringing real food to our table (a real deal).
The brochure or package or deal never came through the mail but yesterday on Friday my cheking account was charged $59.95 and I called the number that my bank gave me and as they wanted to provide an address where to mail a letter to get my refund I decided I would better go to my bank on Monday and we will do a treeway on the phone lines so that I can receive my money back IMMEDIATELY.
I do not have a doubt that I will get it back ... I should have used my credit card though because I could be getting my money through my computer this very moment... I was lucky I had funds, unemployed as I am, in my checking account because I was expecting my unemployment compensation to come through next week to make all my minimum payments to my 4 credit cards. My regret is the headache, the wasted time, my son's uneasiness when discovering that he brought this on us instead of "a deal" and my anxiety to wait until monday morning to go to the bank to solve this problem.
The first guy I talked to was not kind of happy because I dared tell him to get a good job when he denied that they have a website but the second one was a sweet lady that absolutely assured me that I will get my money back through the treeway.
It was because of the ripoff reports that I got the website and the new phone number to talk with this nice lady so I thank you all people because you provided info that I could use.
I shall inform you all when I get my money back on Monday, Amen!!!

YOU HAVE TO HAVE PATIENCE, MY RETURN OR REFUND CHECK FOR $59.95 CAME TODAY IN THE MAIL AND I AM GOING TO CASH IT TOMORROW. SO THERE IS HOPE FOR ALL IF YOU ASK FOR YOUR MONEY BACK AS I DID. THANKS!

I went to my bank and did the three way on the phone. All they wanted to know from my bank was if it is true that the $59.95 habe been retrieved as I said and the bank said yes!. I did not receive the brochure because they had the wrong street address which they corrected to send me a refund check in 48 hours which I can deposit and recover my money. I shall let you know the end of it as soon as the check clears in my account. Hopefully, the check will arrive soon enough, Amen!. Thanks.
