Dominion Homes Beware: Mold, crappy customer service, problems never fixed! Louisville Kentucky

My husband and I closed on our new Dominion Home on 10/28/06, after waiting for 8 months on the construction of our home. We were given lies from the beginning on why construction wasn't started until 4 months after we signed our contract and got financing so we should know that was just a warning of what was to come. Closing day, we were told to go ahead and go, that our house would be ready by the time we got back. Then after closing we were asked to wait a few days to move in--which we did not comply with. We had a walk through list of things that never got completed.

After a few months went by, we were instructed to put the items on our 6 month walk through list, so we did, only to find that it wouldn't be completed either. They scheduled appointments and never showed, while I took my vacation time from work to be there to let them in.

10 months into our house, we found mold growing in the basement, which we had not finished yet. That was the last straw for us, many people in our subdivision are trying to sell, buyers should get the hint. Please don't buy a Dominion Home!!
