I was quoted a price for services for an hourly rate of 107/hr. I paid a deposit of $50 on my debit card that was to go towards the total move. The movers got to my apartment at 9am and did not begin moving until 9:30am. They would not start until they recieved cash upfront for the two hours it was estimated to take for a total of $214.
After recieving $214 in cash they began moving at 9:30, and the start time was noted on the contract as 9:30 and was signed by myself. When we arrived at the final destination and I was to note the start time at the final destinated I noticed that the mover had changed the start time with his pen to 8:30. I called, Mike, the owner and he was verbally abusive and very unprofessional and called me a liar.
He demanded an additional $270 to remove my belongings from the truck and the movers were instructed not to begin until we provided them with the cash. He said that he would take my belongings if I didnt pay to have them removed. The police were called and the movers finally began the job after sitting around for an hour at $107 an hour! These day workers and NOT PROFESSIONAL MOVERS, and my fiancee and I moved alongside with them for the duration of the move. They ended up taking 5 hours to complete the job and were sitting on the job, smoking, talking on the cell phones and obviously delaying. They commented that the owner would get mad if they took to short of a time.
We ended up paying a total of $535 for a horrible service. The movers dinged my cherry wood chest, left long black scrapes down the front hall and in the bedroom and broke the entertainment center. When I thought my nightmare was behind me I looked at my bank statement and the company has now charged my debit card for an unauthorized additional $214.
This company will use your debit card to make illegal charges. They are unethical, fraudulant using day workers instead of trained professionals, and the owner is verbally abusive and unprofessional. The website looks professional but do not be fooled as I was. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! TELL YOUR FRIENDS TO SAVE THEM WHAT I WENT THROUGH AND AM STILL GOING THROUGH!

I was quoted a price for services for an hourly rate of $107/hr with an estimate of 2 hours or less. I paid the deposit of $50 on my debit card and that was to go towards the total move. The movers got to my apartment at 9am and would not begin moving without the cast upfront. After we got the $214, cash from the ATM and paid them, they began moving at 9:30. When we arrived at the final destination and I was to sign at the start time of that location I noticed that the start time had been changed with a pen to 8:30. Obviously mad, I called the owner Mike, who was verbally abusive and called me a liar. He demanded an additional $270 to remove my belongings from the truck and the movers were instructed not to begin until cashe was in hand.
He said he would take and sell my belongings and not unload if he wasnt paid the additional amount. The police were called and the movers finally began moving after sitting around for an hour at $107/hr.
These movers WERE NOT PROFESSIONAL MOVERS and my finance and I moved alongside them for the duration of the move. They ended up taking 5 hours and were paid $535. They dinged my cherry wood chest, left long black scrapes alongside the living room and bedroom wall, broke my entertainment center and did a horrible job.
I thought my nightmare was over, but then realized the moving company had illegally charged my debit card account for an additional $214!
DO NOT USE DR.MOVE!!!
They are liars and thiefs and will get your debit card to make unauthorized charges. The movers are day workers who sit on the job, smoke, talk on cell phones, and break your stuff.
DO NOT USE DR.MOVE
