Drive Time - Ugly Duckling ripoff an employee failed to enter work change info they tried to repo truck needed repairs their promise to fix never came Clearwater Florida

I had the truck about a month when a friend went to make a payment for me and they told her they were looking for the truck and me because they had called and the number was no good. One of their employees had failed to put update information in the computer as to the new number. They were rude and called me a liar and also said they were coming to get the truck.

I had just made the first payment and down payment when this happened. The truck had been on their other lots and before I wondered why, after they did me the way they did i began to feel it was due to them maybe doing others like they tried to do me. I told them within the first two months the truck shook real bad and they promised to fix it.

I did take it to a shop in st. petersburg to have the break lights fixed but had to keep on at them to get that done. I strongly disagreed with the intrest rates but was in a jam and needed a vehicle quick and since they would take a low down payment I felt I would get the truck.

I ended up with an amount of approx. $20,000.00 for a 1999 Ford Ranger Ext. cab pickup truck. Payments were ridiculous and they knew i was in a hard spot. $447.00 a month. To me was outrageous but I had to have a ride.

I feel they know the position an individual with bad credit/no credit is and I feel they take advantage. I also never got the truck fixed where it shook so I drive it limitedly as I don't have the money to fix it and they never made good on their promise to fix it either. Also I feel it is not my place to have it fixed because I let them know right after I purchased it.

I feel that someone should stop them from their way of business tactics. For the amount of money they charge they should stand good behind it. Thanks
