I purchased 2006 Chevrolet Tahoe Z71 from Drive Time on April 21, 2015. The vehicle was sold to me as one owner 92,576 miles. The vehicle was sold to me as a personal use vehicle. The AutoCheck had missing information from the Carfax I found online after having so many problems. My Carfax shows the vehicle was use as commercial. There was things replaced on the vehicle that wasn't on the dealer AutoCheck. It stated in fleet, rental and/ or lease used record. My Carfax shows that the vehicle was used for commercial 8 years and 7 months. When the vehicle was being inspected I was told several things was wrong with it and needed to be replaced before it would pass inspection.

The first week the vehicle had issues that I noticed. I took the vehicle back two days later and five days later. I was promised that the vehicle would be repaired at no cost to me because I just had purchased it. I was told when I asked on both visit's to return the vehicle for another one that once I drove off the lot it couldn't be returned. Looking threw my paperwork it said you could return the vehicle within 5 days if the sale. There was things wrongs with the vehicle which it shouldn't have passed inspection like brakes, rotors, all 4 tires with, axle seal leaking, tire rods, ball joints, electrical, oxygen sensors, engine mounts, air bag sensor, heater hose connectors, vacuum leaks, transfer case, etc. The carpet in the vehicle was soiled with dirt and spots. The dealership agreed to have it cleaned and give me a fill up. They didn't hold up to anything that they agreed to.

The 15 months that I had the vehicle I constantly took it back to the dealer requesting my money back or to put me into another SUV. The repair shops that they was in network with would say that nothing was wrong with the vehicle you take it somewhere else or another network repair shop they would find multiple problems. The warranty company Aeverex wouldn't pay for covered repairs. They made promises to fix the brakes, rotors and several other items and didn't fix them. I went to different in network and out of network repair shops paying a $100 in network and $200 out if network to get my vehchecked and repaired and my vehicle was never completely fixed because the dealer or warranty company wouldn't fix it. The deal sells vehicles to customers with fair and poor credit that they know has problems. They agree to fix the vehicle and tell you that they will contact the warranty company to override your deductible and repair cost and they don't.

They decided to offer me a modification agreement to differ my payments 2 months because I was paying out of pocket for repairs that was and wasn't covered under warranty. Also they have a policy after you purchase your vehicle you have an additional 60 days to put down more money. I went the last day of the 60 days to put down $2,000 more. They refused my payment saying that $429 was a reasonable payment for a SUV based off if my income and that I could just pay extra monthly to get rid of interest fees. And that it was a day over my 60 days anyway, which i knew it was the last day of. I put $3,000 down and paid $429 for 13 months. I had to take the vehicle back to the dealership because it had to many issues and continued to get more the longer I kept it.

It became very costly out if pocket to keep repairing one thing after another. The vehicle was sold to me with major problems electrical being one. My heat in the back of the vehicle didn't work the entire time I had the vehicle. The air conditioner didn't work and blew out coolant smoke. The radio would hum and go in and out and you could hear static. The cigarette lighter switches didn't work. Sensor lights on the dashboard came on the first week I purchased the vehicle. One of the fog lights had water in it every time it rained the other one blinked. The brake light on the right side didn't work even after replacing the bulb. The wire was burning and we was smelling a Carmel burning smell. The interior lights would blink the radio would short out.

I could go on and on this dealership has no consideration for there customers. They make promises telling you that they would reimburse you if you have the receipts then act as if they didn't say it. I was sold a vehicle that should have been junked. The vehicle looked niced but was a prior junk. I'm shocked that I was able to drive it as long as I did. Most of the mileage was from taking it to repair shop to repair shop different areas for repairs or opinions. Going back and forth to the dealership. About a month or 2 threw out me having the vehicle it was in the shop. I'd you have bad credit Drive Time will put you in a vehicle but trust me it will have many major problems. Your happy your getting a vehicle but then become depressed or miserable once you find out that they sold you a lemon.
