Drive Time 7 months after my purchase the Rear Main Seal goes out Round Rock Texas

Purchased my 2006 Chevy HHR in July 2014, the salesman tells me that the Warranty was mandatory on all purchases.  Made it out to be the best in the industry, Aeverex Warranty Services.  Here it is March (8 months later) the Rear Main Seal goes out, the warranty company has the rear main on the exclusion list, although it is encased in the oil pan, they will not cover the repairs.  I call Drive Time.... oh yea the initial warrany was 30 days and since its an as is purchase and the warranty company is not going to cover it, it's going to cost me 1400. out of pocket to get it fixed.
