I purchased a Norelco trimmer ondrugstore.com's website Sunday at noon,at the time of purchase it said out of stock, will ship in 2 weeks with free shipping. at checkout I find out they added a new back order shipping charge of 1.99. I find thi practice vwey disturbing, and deceptive, and dishonestfpr three reasons.

1- There was no mention on the item page of a extra charge of 1.99 forbackorders, at the final checkout page is where they tried sneaking in an extra 1.99 to make for their free shipping costs

2- At the time of purchase it said out of stock 1-2 weeks, this was late at noon. Monday morning 8am they tell it was shipped.Howdoessomethinggo from out of stock 1-2 weeks to shipped on 1 day, and not just any day on Sunday when business's are closed. The only reasoning I see here, is they put it out of stock to make some more money on me, while inrealityit was in stock.Shame on youdrugstore.com!!!! Explain this practice...

3- who in the world charges for back orders? I've never seenanythinglike it before in my life. A total rip off....

I would recommend that you read the details of any promotion before you spend your money. The website clearly states in the help pages, under shipping policy: " Some items may not qualify for free shipping. Certain items are ineligible for our Everyday Free Shipping Program and free or discounted shipping promotions. The minimum purchase required for Everyday Free Shipping or free or discounted shipping promotions doesn't include, and free or discounted shipping doesn't apply to, contact lenses, gift certificates, bulk orders, orders over 20 pounds, applicable shipping charges or sales tax. Free or discounted shipping doesn't apply to backorder, preorder, heavy or oversize items. Eligible non-prescription items are marked with our free shipping truck logo on the product information pages. If you have one or more ineligible items in your cart, you will be asked to remove the item(s) if you wish to qualify for free or discounted shipping." The fact that you entered into a contract without reading that contract is your own fault!
