Eagle Carports Inc Discount portable buildings They do not do a leak test after installation...if it rains after 30 days TOO BAD cana, Virginia

Purchased 18' x 21' carport March 2012. Installed 26 April 2012.  Bought xtra braces, legs.  Asked about anchors.  Was told it would be tied down with "mobile home" anchors. When installers show up they said oh no, you have to buy them too.  Would have bought them had we been given the proper information. The "anchors" are little rebar about 2 1/2 feet. Main office also informs me after the fact that these are not really "anchors".  I asked about windload.   There is ZERO wind load according to main office.  Lovely.  

Had our first rain, and the new car parked under the carport.  Car wetter from the roof than from the rain!

Because the first rain didn't happen till AFTER the 30 days, we have to have this issue resolved at our own expense.   Should have checked rip off report first :)

My suggestion would be, if you happen to purchase from this company....DEMAND a water leak test, and use alot of water to give it time to build up in the channels.   They are telling me the water is building up in the channels and then pours through onto the car.   If I wanted rain to hit stuff I would not have wasted money on a carport.   Was looking to buy a MAJOR product from them, but not now!!
