Earnhardt Dodge / Gilbert Service my TUSH!! Gilbert Arizona

My husband took his truck to Earnhardt's due to a check engine light coming on. They told him what the code was and gave him a price to fix the problem. Which was a throttle body and gaskets.

After picking up his pick up, he noticed that the rough idle and check engine light were still there.
SO he took it back and now they said the problem was a pump leak detection and needed to be replaced; which they did.

After picking up his pick up the check engine came on again on the same day.

SO he called them and they now said the code was for a different problem. The computer, which would cost $900.00 more. After he had already paid them $287.16 and $371.75.
Considering we were out of money and still had the same problem Bill Luke dodge, a more established dealer, low and behold $97.00 later the problem was fixed.

THE PROBLEM WAS, when Earnhardt fixed the first problem they left a cap on one of the vacuum lines, which caused the other problems.

My husband went back to Earnhardt told them what the problem was and asked for his money back for the second unnecessary fix of $371.75 and was told by the service manager to sue him for it.

SO he filed a claim against them; well he just hung up from the manager who is now willing to give him the $371.75 back. But when my husband asked about the $97.00 for fixing their mistake, and the $80.00 for the filing fees at court, the manager proceeded to yell at my husband and tell him that he would see him in court and he would not get anything.

Now what I would like to know is how do they keep their dealership in tact when there are so many complaints against them.
