My husband and I sold our home in Conneticut in July and needed to buy a reliable car to move across the country with. We decided on a 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan and paid close to $15,000 for the full 3 year lease up front.

On our drive to our new home in Arizona, we stopped for something to eat. When we were ready to leave the van wouldnt start. We tried again and it finally turned over. We assumed it was a fluke and continued driving.

When we arrived in Arizona, we scheduled an oil change at Earnhardt Dodge at 1301 Arizona ave in Gilbert. We told them of the trouble we had while driving. They said the vehicle had started fine for them and that they had tested it several times.

In January, while my husband had it at work, it decided not to start again. This time it needed to be towed. To make a long story short, the van has been towed several times now. They have replaced the Power Module 2x, the fuel sensors, and right now they are installing the 3rd fuel pump.

The service department has become increasingly rude and snide. We have called the dealership we purchased the van at and they said to call chrysler direct. Chrysler says it is Earnhardts responsibility to help us and possibly to buy back our lease and give us a new vehicle. We have looked into the lemon law and to my understanding we meet the critera ( 4x seviced or 30 days out of service). Earnhardt says we dont meet the criteria and Chrysler has been "looking into it" for several weeks.

We seem to be getting the run around and have talked to the service manager, the general manager, several people at Chrysler and are trying to get a phone number for the District Factory Representative (which Eanhardt has refused to give to us). We are now considering contacting a lawyer and possibly the local news. Of course the dealership said that we should not waste our money on a lawyer. HMMM, I wonder why?
