I purchased the car in May 2015. I brought my car in for an oil change in August 2015 and got the oil changed at the stated rate. When I called to make another appointment to change my oil in December, 2017, I was notified that this rate no longer applied because THEY COULD NO LONGER GET THE CONVENTIONAL OIL for this low priced oil change. They offerred to give me a $ 39.99 rate for a synthetic oil change.

So...it sounds like a bait & switch technique to me.  Maybe that's just the way I interpreted it. But I kind of feel like I've been lied to, especially when I've had the car less than a year and the original offer was for the LIFE of the CAR.

(OK, maybe the $ 39.99 is a good deal for a synthetic oil change...but that wasn't the point. The price of conventional oil hasn't changed much in the past 6 months.).
