Good morning folks,

I hope you are all well and life is being kind to you. I just got done ordering an Eco Canteen, The first thing you have to watch this web site for is that they will try to trick you into ordering more than one canteen, you have to physically change the number of canteens you want, next after ordering the canteen itself and only when you get to the confirmation of your order you will find that they have added the insulated cover for an additional charge. Next you will be offered to save ten dollars, and a second offer to save 40 dollars in gas, be very careful here, for after filling out this information, way down in the following page you will see where they are going to charge you and additional $14.95 if you do not call customer service to cancel that offer.

When I tried to contact them to cancel the whole order, I was told that nothing could be done today and that I would have to contact them again later. I don't know about everyone else, but I do not like this kind of surreptitious practices and wanted to warn as many of you as I could about this company's sneaky tactics.

Hi this is EcoCanteen. It is discouraging to see such a negative comment from a customer, but we are here to resolve the issues.

As noted on the website, and TV commercial, we advertise the product as $9.99 each plus p/h.

The bottom of www.EcoCanteen.com has 'Offer Detail' information that outlines the product costs, as well as the processing and handling costs associated with the Adult Bottles, Kids Bottles and Insulated Totes. So the customer should be fully aware of the total cost of their order when they click the 'Click Here' button to place their order. The costs are also clearly stated during our automated telephone ordering system prior to a customer providing us with their
