ECO CANTEEN ECO Canteen Eco Canteen is deceptive! Exorbitant shipping charges! Internet

Eco Canteen.  The amount they charge you for shipping is ridiculous! I am just agreeing with the negative comments already posted here.  Hope to help someone else avoid being ripped off. 

I ordered the canteens after seeing the commercial.  The product sounded good and appeared reasonably priced.  I didn't look online or do any research before ordering which was a big mistake.  The automated phone system I used to order DID NOT give me a total or break down the individual cost.  I assumed I was being charged $9.99 for each adult canteen (I ordered 2) and $8.95 for the child canteen along with $5.95 for shipping.  The insulated totes were free.

I received the 3 canteens and 3 totes in 10 days.  There was no packing slip, invoice or receipt.  Everything arrived together in 1 large padded manila envelope.  I got worried when there was no receipt or invoice so I called my credit card and they told me the charge from Eco Canteen was $70.53  I knew there had to be a mistake so I called customer service immediately.  I was on hold for 27 minutes.  Customer service sucked.  They were rude and unhelpful.  They also verified that the total was correct.

I was charged 9.99 for each adult canteen plus 5.95 shipping for each adult canteen. I was charged 8.95 for the child canteen plus 4.95 shipping and I was charged 4.95 for each "free" insulated tote!  I was charged $31.70 just in shipping and they charged me sales tax on an out of state purchase which is unneccesary.  They are just greedy.

To make a long story short I was disgusted and deciced to return the canteens and totes and they charge a 15% restocking fee.  I mailed everything back priority mail with delivery confirmation for only $10.
