EDPReporting ripoff, FRAUD, misrepresentation, deceptive, asosciates their company with major craedit card co. names like Visa Card, making you think they are safe. Internet

EDPReporting.com fraudulently and deceptively took $159.99 from my checking account. I have no idea what the service is for nor in any form that I filled out online was I told i would be charged the amount of $159.99. I was under the impression that I was filing for a Liberty Visa or MasterCard credit card.

How can they use the name Visa or MasterCard to commit fraud? I filled out the application for the credit card and when I hit enter I was immediately directed to another page which I thought Iwas part of the credit card application.

Not being extremely savvy about credit cards as, I only have one other credit card. I did not know that a credit card application would NOT at any time ask for a bank routing number or bank number, so I proceeded. Before I was finished I started to feel apprehensive about all of it and just closed the whole thing out.

Too late, they had my checking account number and WHALLA, today slammed me with a fee for $159.99 . My bank paid it thinking it was an authorized check,. My bank is working with me to get the money back and put in a back out form to try and recoup my loss?In the meantime a freeze has been placed on my account to prevent them or anyone who they may have given my checking account number fropm taking or should i say STEALING any more of my money. How can EDPReporting get away with this?

NOW my bank suggest that I close out my account and open a new account(I have direct deposit,I'm disabled, so this is going to be a real hassle) What a night mare this whole issue is! How do I go about reporting this company to the proper authorities?

Beware of anything that says Liberty Visa or MasterCard application sent to you in you email. Seems we cannot count on these trade names as being reputable when they associate themselves with companies such as EDPReporting.
