I sought cheapest price for a flight & search engines etc brought me to eDreams site. They showed a choice of flights for the projected trip & date with lower price (173 Euro=$239) than a local live agent and other websites. I went through their registration proceedure through to the final charge & billing etc.

After waiting for almost an hour for confirmation I contacted their customer service to ask what is holding it up. Shortly after that I received confirmation & the eticket by email.

A day later I received information that the amount actually charged to the credit card was $330.33, which is $100 more than what was stated on the website & more than I was quoted in "final" billing charge!

Worse yet, the data from the credit card company showed an additional pending charge from the airline which if so brings it to more than double the quoted price, close to double what I would have paid to a local travel agent down the street from my home!

I sent a complaint to their customer service & received an audacious reply wherein they falsely claim that all charges weretold to me in a pre-booking report, that the additional charges are for their services & are not refundable. I never received any such report!

This company is a pack of liars & thieves & this must be made known world wide!!!!

If anyone has had success in getting money back from them please reply & let me know.

When we got the refund to the creidt card account we discovered that "eDreams" did NOT give a full refund, only partial!

Okay now; after a few weeks of emails back & forth with "edreams" in which I let them have it "with both barrells" including threats of legal action against them, plus emails & phone calls to Turkish airlines in which I pointed out edreams crookednes & suggested that Turkish reconsider letting "edreams" book for them if they are so dishonest, we got a refund covering a bit more than the double billing.

I registered complaints at both edreams & turkish airlines over a week ago & still no solution. Edreams not even relating to it!
