A relative of mine received this letter saying: RE; AWARD CLAIM FINAL NOTIICATION (01-04-2004 date on letter) saying This is to inform you on the release of the EL - GORDO SWEEPSTAKE LOTTERY PROGRAM held on the 14th of March 2004. Your name attached to ticketnumber 025-11-464-992-750 with serial number 2113-05 drew the lucky numbers 13-15-16-21-34-36 which consequently won the lottery in the 3rd category.
You have been approved for lump sum payout of USD$615,810 in cash credited to file with....etc..This is from a total cash prize of USD$10,468,770...etc..and the letter goes on to say to contact claims agent OSCAR MARTINEZ, the foreign service manager of FANTANE INTL.SECURITY COMPANY S.A. on Tel. 00 34 628053992...
...all prize money must be claimed not later than, 30th of April 2004 after this date all funds will be returned to the MINISTERIO DE ECONOMIA Y HACIENDA as unclaimed...
Page 2 of this letter asks for bank name,account number, address, routing number...AND...OTHER personal info...NEXT OF KIN ...
