WOW!  Do I wish I had read all of the complaints before using this company? 

If you want to be ignored (most of the time except when they think they might get more money out of you), treated rudely when they do talk to you (Dave actually walked away and slammed a door instead of dealing with the problems) and get substandard work while being overcharged, then this is the place for you!  I feel sorry for the other employees (some of which are very nice and try to be very helpful). 

We took our cart to Electric Cart Warehouse because the batteries were no longer holding a charge back in December 2009.  We asked them to replace the batteries and, after talking with Kat, decided to leave the cart there on Consignment and let them sell it for us.  What a mistake that was! 

In July of 2010, I started trying to contact them.  After numerous e-mails and phone messages (they rarely answer their phone), I finally received a call from Dave.  I asked him about putting lights on our cart and getting ready for us to pick-up because we had someone interested in purchasing it.  He stated it would be ready in one day.  He also stated that it was in great shape and they had upgraded the batteries so it was running really well.

Three days later and numerous phone messages later, I finally reached someone who told me, NO, it was not ready and would not be ready for 3 more days.  3 days later, I show up with my trailer to pick up the cart.  After a whole lot of people saying they were going to help us, they practically pushed the cart out to us almost an hour later.  When I asked about the batteries, Dave informed me that the batteries in it would not hold a charge and would not make it run (why would I want a cart that doesn't run?) but he could put good used batteries in it that would make it run great for $399.  He said it would take 20 minutes.  Over an hour later, he brings the cart back out and says someone will help me load it up.  Unfortunately, no one ever came and helped in any way. 

When we attempted to use the cart, it was useless.  It would travel about 20 feet downhill and then the batteries were dead.  The back seat was left unattached for some reason.  They drilled holes in the side of it (apparently, they added a cover to it and then removed it).  When my husband looked at the batteries, they were a mess - some of them were over 4 years old, they had been drilled out and screws inserted for the battery posts.  They were several different brands (which I understand now is bad).  Two of them wouldn't charge at all.  We removed the batteries (because the cart is stored 90 miles from Electric Cart Warehouse) and called Electric Cart Warehouse.

Our calls were ignored until we threatened to stop payment on the credit card charge.  After a long conversation with Kat, she finally agreed to take the used batteries back and wanted to "upgrade" us to new ones for only $400 more (a total of $800 for batteries) and that I would be getting six brand new $159 batteries for my $800.  She also said she would be there - no problem.  Of course, when we got there, Kat had left early, the batteries they gave us are not worth close to $800 and we were treated unbeleivably rudely by the people that were there.  Dave came out and talked to me for about 5 minutes and then just walked away and slammed the door.  He then sent someone else out to talk to me who told me that I had "verbally abused" him and he didn't have to take that.  I didn't even raise my voice except to be heard over the noise of the shop as he walked away. 

When I asked how they could even operate doing business like this, I was told that I was being abusive and they were going to take it from me.  I asked for some kind of deal or concession for all of the inconvenience and was told there was no inconvenience to me and they were being accomodating.  I don't know about anyone else but I find it very inconvenient to have to make dozens of phone calls to reach someone, have the cart not ready when it was supposed to be, have to wait over 2 hours to pick it up (with my 3 kids with me), have no help loading it, have the seat falling off (which is also dangerous), have holes drilled in it without my permission, have the cart not work, and then have to travel back to the shop and be treated like trash only so I can overpay for cheap batteries.
