Back in November I purchased 3 different magazines from this company. The sales woman's name was Charlene Lewis. With Christmas quickly approaching I ordered three different magazine subscriptions; 2 for my boyfriend and 1 for my father. She assured me they would receive their first issue prior to Christmas or slightly after.

It was mid January and neither my boyfriend or father had received an issue. I attempted contacting this company and left numerous messages with them. On the recording they assure you they will be in contact with you before the end of the business day; this never happened. I called religiously every week, and finally one day someone answered. The gentleman said he was not at his office, but we should be getting them within the next couple of weeks they were running behind. I did not doubt him since I had done this with another company before and sometimes this process does take a little longer than expected.

By February, I began to get very suspicious about this company. I attempted calling again every day and left numerous messages, but never heard anything back. That is when I contacted the St. Joseph, MO City Hall and was informed many people had contacted them inquiring about this company. To my surprise I found out the address on my receipt was not even an existing address in that city. I immediately contacted the St. Joseph's police to see what they could do. They told me I needed to file with my local police since this took place in O'Fallon, MO.

That evening I went to the O'Fallon Police Department and was told there was nothing they could do and I needed to contact the Attorney General's office. I submitted a complaint to the Attorney General's office about this company. It has only been a few weeks, but I have not heard anything back, and honestly I am not expecting to.

Just to let you all know, this is for sure a SCAM!!!! The way Element Sales claims to work is they collect your order and money and then give your orders to the necessary magazine companies who will then mail out your subscriptions to you. Just to make sure this company was not just irresponsible and bad about calling people back, I contacted the magazine companies directly. All three of them said they have not heard of this company and had not received any subscriptions under my boyfriend's or father's name.

This is something serious.... people all over the country are being scammed. There is a lady from Mississippi, Colorado, and of course Missouri who have reported. Imagine the people who haven't. We need to stop them. Spread the word and get these crooks caught!!!!!!
