"Elocal Listing" = Joke.

This company calls you with an offer of only $1.00 for 1 months service.

They then proceed to promise to put your business to the top of search engine rankings.

Their sales tactics include "its only $1.00 and if you don't want to continue then just call them and cancel within 30 days". They then give you 2 telephone numbers to call in order to cancel.

If you agree they take all your payment details and record you agreeing to their terms, one of which includes if I dont cancel within 30 days my card will be debited with hundreds of dollars per month thereafter.

A few days after foolishly saying yes, and a bit worried I'd forget, I called to cancel my new account. The problem is that the given numbers hold you on the line for 5 minutes before cutting you off. (Very, Very, Very, Frustrating) I have tried calling 10 times now. A few of which have cut me off, although choosing the sales department option I get a chance to leave a message. Have now then left numerous messages for someone to call me back. But Nobody ever does.

I have now tried emailing them to again cancel my dealings with them, but again, info@elocallisting.com and support@elocallisting.com, nobody replies.

My first call to them was on December 24th I got an answer machine stating that they were now closed until December 26th. I called again on December 26th (and 27th, and 28th) no answer machine saying they are closed, but just the usual keep you on the line then cut you off. AARRGGHHHHHHH.

Luckily for me I guess is that I left it a few days to try and cancel, anyone who falls for this offer and leaves it until the last minute has absolutely no chance of getting through to anyone. Infact anyone has no chance of ever getting through to a person from this company, you will be cut off or if lucky asked to leave a message.

I have since read a few other horror stories about them, and their parent company who was closed down.

Please avoid this company if you can please please be aware that "customer care is non-existant" and the scams and sales tactic that this joke of a company uses to snare people are very underhand.

All this lady had to do was go to elocallisting.com and get the costumer service number that is right there on the front page in bold letters. It is verry simple to find and once you call this number all you need to do is give them your number and say you want to cancell. It is that simple and if its within the first 30 days you WILL get you %100 of your money back in 3 to 5 days.
