The company leads the people to believe that the comp cards are really expensive and that digatal comp cards are the better way to go. $1,500 for comp cards is not accurate. I have seen 100 color comp cards printed with a head shot on the front and three shots on the back for as low as $35. That was several years ago but I seriously doubt that the price has jumped that high.

John you are a "shill" trying to advocate your stupid company. The only reason you've had a good experience is because you are not a scout. Because if you were truly a scout that swill you just wrote as a "rebuttal" wouldn't have come out of your mouth. Don't get on Brooke for speaking the d**n truth about your sleazy company. Plenty of people who worked as scouts could cut it such as myself and probably Brooke, (what's up Brooke)you just get tired of working hard and being purposely ripped

off when your models are coming to you saying that they signed up and why is it they can't get any jobs and you're not get the commissiion from them signing up. So don't tell us we're bitter because we're pissed you all are living off of our free labor and hard work you cons! We are slowly but surely exposing you creeps. I know cause I'm personally doing it and I have reporters from four states that are going to expose you creeps. T



The industry first of all has free "open calls" that are open to everyone and if they are interested in you they will have you register if they are not they will basically tell you to go home. But you all don't do that do you. I've seen you people ask pimply girls with braces to pay the $500 bucks although everyone knows an agency will not sign you until you have your braces remove.



As for the advertising you are a liar because the other day

in Chicago, I saw a commercial around 6pm on a major network so you are so full of it. Too bad for the scouts cause you've mad their jobs that much harder.



To quote you" most of the scouting is done by trained scouts". Is this your defense with the exception of me and maybe a couple of others, what trained scouts. Three days of "training" get real, most of these scouts don't even know what to look for. Plus you tell them to bring anybody anyway and you'll work from there. There is no second interview it's a pressureview. It's where you pump the poor models and their parents for half of the money you scoundrels.



You are full of it because you are full of it or brainwashed because if you had common sense you would not pay 500 to get "discovered" in a free industry anyway. If you don't have luck on your side or pounding the pavements getting the proper exposure and I don't mean on a never up-dated website (which you all claim part of the 495 is for maintence of the website) where you post your picture nine times out of ten you will not make it in this industry. So stop giving people, especially kids false hope. Why don't you use your commission money to get your picture on the website smarty boy with the "good Emodel experience". I'm sure they'll give you a discount since you are fighting their cause for free. They might even put your 1500 comp pic on the site for you.



Something else I bet they will not pay you for. So full of it,

your quoting their amt. for the comp card. I bet 20 bucks and not your commission money that you don't even have a comp card. Bashing is one thing like when you don't have the facts, experience, or knowledge about something but telling the truth like Brooke, myself, and hundreds of other people is something else. Because my question is how can you bash someone's bad experience of fraud? You are basically downplaying it by using "you must be bitter" as a crutch. Answer the questions at hand and figure out how to stop your company from being a fraudulent one. You should talk about people doing wrong things how do you sleep at night. Stop being scared! Brooke, who are you? an old scout with bitter feelings toward a company where you just could not cut it?



About the open call, its the modeling industry and thats what the industry does. there is very little advertising, and most of the scouting is done by trained scouts. In the invitation only open call, you are told of the $500 enrollment cost, and that everyone gets a second interview.



hey, if i would have had the chance to break into the insustry for $500 i would have, istead i spent about $1500 the first time i made comp cards, and i am not even using the anymore. they are in my basement.



THIS IS NOT A SCAM, just a great oppurtunity!



Brooke, bashing people is really and trully wrong, even if you didnt like them.



and By the way, where are you located? we do have offices everywhere.

Good try emodel...

At the beginning of this REBUTTAL it says, "In my relationship with eModel i have had a very good experience."



At the very end of the REBUTTAL he then states, " and By the way, where are you located? we do have offices everywhere."



This is very common. We find that most of the Rip-off Reports are sincere and genuine. When victimized consumers come to the Rip-off Report we can tell they are telling the truth. About 95% of them all give their full name address and phone number. Even if they do not provide that information, we understand their fear.



NOTE:All information is strictly confidential and would NOT be revealed to the person or company reported.



Most of the REBUTTALS in my opinion are bogus and placed by employees of the reported company or person.
