Made and appointment for EmpireToday to come and do a "free" measurement and quote on flooring.

They must train their salesment to think women are Stupid!   This guy proceeds to tell me he's been in all these professions and he starts rattling off all these professions including Law Enforcement - WHY I DO NOT CARE.

He has a very "Cheap" electronic measuring device - does he really think it is top of the line.

Tells me I have 596 feet to cover.  Excuse me maximum measurements by 3 other professionals 512 (including throw away i.e. material that will be cut and thrown away or I can keep)

I call him on his measurement and he justifies himself - he calculated wrong - he has an eye stigma and he needs glass.

Tells me all about the "two for one" special - DO NOT believe it folks - it's an outright fabrication!!! If this is two for one then they have priced themselves out of the market for middle class'

He gives me prices from $3,900 original price down to $3,400, then $2,900 to $2,200 (different material)

Empire Tells you "Free Removal of Old Flooring", "movement of furniture" etc.    Excuse me I told him I would remove the carpet and move all the furniture - surprise surprise - price comes down when I tell him this.

I give him my bottom line which is now some $400 more than any others have quoted for same quality, installation

Surprise - Surprise - he has to CALL to get approval.

Of course he can't get approval - it's $200 more than my bottom line.

Gosh what a Car Saleman Technique.

Empire - women are NOT stupid.  They can actually read Consumers Reports on flooring, some women can actually measure a room acturately

I would not buy from this company now if they dropped the price down to $1,800  I consider them to be royal rip-offs.

Hey Empire - take your commercials off T.V.  Maybe then your flooring might sell.

Do not insult women.  I resent the fact that this salesman treated me as if I were stupid and he had to tell me how much experience he had in 7 or 8 professions.  I have no doubt this is how EmpireToday trains their salesman.
