Encante Eye Cream Kuvo False Advertising! Internet

 My wife asked me to order a free trial of this company's eye cream. I went to the website and ordered. Everything that I saw made me understand that this was indeed a free trial - minus shipping and handling. What we did not know, I guess, is that it is only free for the first 14 days. And supposedly the company will not allow returns once the product is open. And the actual cost of the product - the amount charged after those 14 days - is ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS. Yeah, that's crazy. I spoke to a couple of people at the call center. They gave me the run-around. They spoke over me. They told me that I had checked off on reading some fine-print Terms and Conditions. And I told them they, despite their arguments, they are falsely advertising. Everything immediately visible on the website indicates a truly free trial. Only after I called a second time, this time threatening to call Consumer Protection, did the young lady give a full refund. But she continued to say that she was completely within her rights to charge me and refuse a refund. Unfortunately, they are defrauding many, many consumers besides just me.
