Encore Marketing International CREDIT CARD FRAUD EASY SAVER & AMERICAN LEISURE MEMBERSHIP RIPOFF Lanham Maryland

Encore Marketing International billed my 80 year old mother for 2 products they say she agreed to. One was an Easy Saver, the other American Leisure. What she agreed to buy where 100% satisfaction guaranteed vitamins, which she then sent back (registered mail). She thought this was the end of the story. She found out on June 20, 2007 that since last October 2006, she has been billed $30 dollars a month for EZ Saver & American Leisure. She would not, nor could not use these products and has never seen anything in the mail for these items.

She would not use a travel item like American Leisure, as she has 2 replaced knees, a replaced hip and a replaced support in her hand. She also does all travel through my sister who is a flight attendant. The Easy Saver is something the person at Encore Marketing International would not tell me about.

When I spoke to the company, the woman would NOT give me the name of the Company, (actually refused to do so) then said my 80 year old mother should pay more attention to her bills. She uses a Discover card, which is paid automatically through her bank and has never looked at the statement, since only 2 bills occur monthly on this card.

I find it bad business and deceptive to senior citizens (actually all citizens) for a company such as this marketing company, to send a product and in the fine print if you do not agree to NOT have something added, they go ahead and add this to your card - knowing full well that most people think the transaction has been resolved.
