Every year I purchase a new Entertainment book because I like the online restaurant coupons for my area.  The coupon books expire in November, so I purchased my new book online through their website at the end of October.  Once my book arrived I activated it on their website in order to print their online coupons.  However, none of the coupons would print and kept saying I needed to purchase a membership.

I called Entertainment about the problem, and spent at least 45 minutes on the phone with them.  Nothing they did worked, and I was shooed off the phone when a customer service agent said my account needed to refresh and I should give it a few hours.  Obviously, whatever they were claiming to do didn't work, and days later I still wasn't able to use any of the online coupons.

I've now e-mailed their customer service four times and have received the same form response:

Thank you for contacting Entertainment. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Our new website is not working properly at this time. The technical team is working diligently to repair the issues we are having. Unfortunately we do not have an ETA but we appreciate your patience. The Digital Access is a supplement to the Entertainment book and is not the only option with your membership. While we work to repair the issues with the website please take advantage of the hundreds of coupons that are located in your Entertainment book(s).

As always, we are committed to providing our customers with the best savings experience on the Internet or in our publications and we invite you to use our service again.

If you have any additional questions or suggestions, please reply to this email. Thank you for contacting Entertainment.

Kind regards,

This reply is frustrating for two reasons.  First, they never actually address my concerns or acknowledge my numerous e-mails, even when I reply to the form e-mail asking specific questions I receive a form response.  Secondly, Entertainment is still selling the Digital Access (as a separate item you can purchase) and even advertising for this "supplement" for the holiday season.  Basically, their knowingly selling a product that doesn't work and they have no idea when it will.  It's incredibly wrong.

If I would have known beforehand that the online coupons were non-functional, I would not have purchased the book at all.

I realize Entertainment filed for bankruptcy in March and laid off a whole lot of their employees, however, they shouldn't still be advertising products in which they have no intent on making useful.  It's completely deceptive marketing.
