Epower And Profits Scam ripoff scam Campbell California

I know you all have seen the epowerandprofits infomercial and I had as well. So I decided to check out Epower and Profits and on their website they offer a free (yeah right) cd. So I decided to see what it was about I mean I only had to pay $3.95 for S&H. Well that's where the scam begins.

Once epowerandprofits has your credit card info they send out your FREE cd and a little surprise a $99.97 pack of crap. This packet has a book How to Strike it Rich on Ebay (which you can find on the web as an ebook for free), 1 video (which is just an infomercial for Epower and Profits web service), and 2 cd-roms.

Naturally the first thing I did was watch the video and realized this was not something I was interested in because it appeared focused towards people who didn't even know how to open an ebay account so I didn't even look at the other items and now this weekend I find out that I was charged $99.97 for this packet. I work hard for a living and $100.00 is a lot to a family of 6 and I am not about to just give it away.

So I called the scammers epowerandprofits and spoke with Eyan. After explaining the situation and telling Eyan that I only requested the free cd and did not want whatever it is that they thought was worth 99.97 and I would be happy to return the item for a refund he not only refuses a refund but he also denies to provide return shipping information. The scammers Epower and Profits say that it is clearly stated that the packet is a trial period only and I pointed out how deceptive it was to offer a free cd and then send a package of junk along with it and then require that if someone doesn't want your junk to pay to ship it back. It didn't matter to Eyan he simply decided to hang up on me.

Well be the persistent fellow that I am I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor and the same rep. , Eyan, told me that I had no right to speak to a supervisor. Well now I have filed a chargeback with my CC company and filed a complaint with www.bbb.org

I only want people to be aware of the Epower and Profits scam and I hope that I can help at least some not to be scammed by epowerandprofits.
