ESBI Aka Voicemail Solutions unauthorized charges to phone bill through a service I never signed up for Internet

I saw my phone bill was $13.76 more than what it should be. Under miscellaneous charges it said voicemail solutions monthly fee. I called the number given for ESBI to find out what was going on.

The person I spoke with said it was for signing up for an 800 number that all my family and friends could use at no cost to them. She said it was through myvoicemailprize.com. They also had information regarding myself that isn't hard to find out, but I still want to know how they did it.

First of all I have never been to that site. Secondly most everyone I know has unlimited long distance with their providers. Finally this would be like paying for my friends and families phone calls me, I have enough bills of my own.
