For three days in a row, I received a phone call from eTourandTravel about four tickets that I had won to NASCAR and hotel accommodations, in Daytona, Florida. They kept wanting me to make a payment for this.
I had told them the first day that my husband was out of town and would not be back for four days and to e-mail me the information so I could discuss it with my husband when he returned home and I would get back with them.
When I got home from work that first day, I had received the information in an e-mail. But, when I tried the e-mail address I was sent to your web site. I told my husband about all this when he returned home, he felt that it was a scam of some kind and wanted me to call the company.
So I tried calling the phone number listed in the e-mail, all I got was a automated answer with music playing that kept getting loader and loader. After holding for 10 minutes I hung up and set out filing a complant with you, adding to your list.
I know that an attempted rip off is not a rip off, but I hope that this will help to show that this company is trying to get others still.
