I just can't believe all that these rip off Companies can get away with.I never authorized this "so-called company" to debit my account now my account is overdrawen because of this transaction.
I called the bank and they told me that there was nothing I could do That I had to resolve this issue with the company .
That the bank was not held responsible for these kind of transactions That this was my fault that I should have never gone on line and applied for a pay day loan. That all these unauthorized debits were the out come of applying for pay day loans.
I asked how I could stop these transactions from ocurring again .I was told that there was really nothing I could That my only choice was to bring my account to a positive balance and then close it . The only thing is won't these pay day loan Companies be able to send me to collections?

I was trying to help...

I wasn't calling you dumb. After reading many reports about credit problems here and elsewhere, it seems some folks don't know the difference. The debit cards "look and feel" like a credit card but they don't offer the buyer protection that a real credit card offers. This information was for you and OTHERS who read this site.
Somehow, the payday loan folks got your account number. You admit to applying for payday loans. I'm willing to bet that somewhere on the paperwork you filled out with the lender was an authorization for them to get the money from your account - this is the only reason I can think of that your bank isn't helping you.
Perhaps you should take your copies of the loan paperwork you filled out to an attorney for a legal opinion of the matter. If indeed there was no authorization by you, most attorneys will take on the case for you knowing that the court will award thier legal fees should you prevail.
Payday loans may serve a purpose for someone who has an emergency pop up but I recommend staying away from them - the interest rates are crazy. And, as you seem to know, a loan is a loan and has to be paid back.
I'm sorry you're upset about the method the creditor is using to get the loan repaid and you seem to have learned to stay away from the online payday loans in the future. I don't think the offline payday loans are any better and that all payday loans should be avoided.
I think a signature loan from you bank would be a better way to borrow short term money.
I see you have applied for multiple payday loans
Good luck

I did not apply for this so called loan or authorize this withdrawal from my bank account.
The sad part about all this is that they used a draft check with my husbands name and information , and he isn't even on my account.
I have a single checking account in my name only If I had autorized this I wouldnt be complaining on this web site
And i dont think that i am that dumb to gine my debit card # to anybody
AND YES I DO KNOW WHAT DEBIT MEANS

Don't use a debit card online! PERIOD!

Seems to me you applied for the payday loan and used your debit card. If this is true than by giving them your debit card number, you have in fact authorized them to make these withdrawals from your bank account. That's what a debit card is - a debit card against your bank account.
I advise folks to NEVER use a debit card online for just this reason - your bank won't help you get the money back because YOU AUTHORIZED it by applying for the payday loan using a debit card.
Major credit cards at least will go to bat for you if the charge is indeed false or fraudulent - debit card holders will not!
