I visited Expertlaw.com to get advice on a traffic citation. I was overwhelming told that I did not have a chance of beating it in court. When I asked the background of a few senior members, I was responded to rudely and told "what does that matter." So I engaged a few of them and they jumped on me like a pack of hyenas. Eventually I questioned a senior member who was actually a moderator but did not identify himself as such. Nor did he moderate anything. His reaction to my question was to ban me from the site.

I went back to the site under a different screen name just to experience what I suspect was taking place. I was correct. The site is filled with what appear to be pro-prosecution, anti-socital type members. They lay and wait for people to reveal their 'bad' situation so they can criticize them and tell them they have no defense. A few members are law enforcement, so you know what to hear from them…one sided advice.

I also visited the construction forums and found the same thing. They consistently told the customer/homeowner that they had no case. They knew nothing about construction methods or construction law, yet they group together to reinforce their bogus opinions. They are not experts at anything.

Expertlaw.com is filled with what I consider to be forum trolls. They come from one side of the law, that is, the pro-prosecution side. The senior members, moderators and administrator (Aaron) encourage this one sided advice and squelch actual defensive approaches to situations. My advice, stay away, unless you are ready to throw in the towel with your legal situation.

Oh ya, I beat my citation, regardless of their bogus advice that it was hopeless. And when I came back to tell them I beat it, they were not interested at all how I did it.
