Express Scripts Pharmacy Medco, CuraScripts deceptive, bad serivce, unfair practices, greedy, manipulative Orlando Florida

I live in the Orlando, Fl area. The problem: Express Scripts is forcing clients who have to take long term medication, to use their mail order service. Thus, taking away the clients right to use their own pharmacy. On top of this, they're forcing the clients to purchase 90day supply of medications instead of the normal 30day supply.

People who take mutiple medications can barely afford the 30day supply, and now they're forced to get 90days worth.

True scenario: I know someone who has to take two medications for their condition. Each medication costs over $2000 per month for only a 30day supply. Their insurance covers 80% and the client covers the remaining 20%. So their portion for the two medications is about $400 a month. Now, this persons take home pay is about $1100 per month. To keep a roof over his head, $405 per month, car insurance $80 per month, gas for the car $130+ a month, food averge $125 per month, personal items around $100 per month, auto repair credit card pmt $200 per month. So this person's average cost per month is around $1040 per month, leaving only approximately $60 per month to live on.

Without the assistance of copay cards and such, the person and many others like him, would not be able to gain access to their medications. Well, Express Scripts refuse to honor any assisted copays. I myself have never had that problem with Aetna, but I too am forced to deal with Express Scripts.

I spoke with two different representatives, and they both gave me different answers to the same questions. I also reviewed their website and nowhere on there did it inform the client that they do not honor the copay assistance cards. They did allow the person to get a months worth of prescriptions at the local pharmacy, but only for 3 months, and you can use the copay assistance cards. After that, you're forced to do mail order and get 90days worth. They spring the news of not honoring the copay assistance cards when you're calling for a refill after the 3 months.

Imagine the surprise and disbelief when the representative reveals that your order will over $400 dollars per month for the two prescriptions, and you can't use copay assistance cards, coupons and such. I hate dealing with them, and I will keep fighting until someone does something about this.
