EZ Loan Protection 30.00 taken from my acct , Internet

On Dec 17, I went to balance my checkbook and discovered a 30.00 check made out to this company. I had never heard of them before in my life. I contacted the phone number listed on the transaction, to find out that they apparently are never open. I contacted my bank and disputed the charge. I started doing more research online and thanks to ripoff report, found the phone number of 866-234-8841 and people actually work at this place. I contacted them and told them I had never autherized thier company to take money from my acct. I was told that I had signed up for "debt to wealth" program. Umm no I didnt and clearly informed them that I had gotten the number off of rip off report and that I was not the only person to have them take money out of an acct without autherization. Upon further review by the rep on the phone, I was told that my acct had been canceled earlier in the day by a Chase Powell. Who the heck is that I wanted to know. I dont knowno Chase Powell and what was he doing with my information. I was then informed that Chase Powell is one of thier reps and that he had canceled my acct. I was told it would take up to 3 weeks to get my money back, I then asked for a supervisor. I was transfered and thats when the story started changing. I was told bya supervisor by the name of Fernanda that I had applied for thier service when I inquired about a payday loan. I havent done or inquired about a payday loan in 10 yrs, so then I knew for sure I had been scammed. I asked where they obtained my information and was told that they didnt have that information, all they could tell me is that it came from a payday loan website.

This company seems to have one hell of a scam going on, I wish everyone else who has been hit by this company nothing but the best in getting thier money back. Thankfully once I contacted my bank with all of the additional information I had obtained, they refunded my money. Im glad I have a great bank. Turn this company over to your local consumer protection department, thats the only way places like this get stopped.
