I am edward the moving consultant who first spoke with Johnathan. I had offer johnathan an estimate based on a poundage requested by Johnathan. The day before his pick up a foreman was sent to his house to specifically do a home estimate because Johnathan never provide a inventory list of his items. He was not pack and he was not too sure of his box count. The foreman did a walk through and told Johnathan he was unquoted and that he will have more weight so the price will go up. Johnathan immediatley decided to cancel the pick up.

First of all, Johnathan was in a budget but, for this type of move we could not meet his budget. Please note our rates our low and we are still working on spring rates. There are customers that like to hurt our living by putting complaints on these websites. Note this is our second complaint. We do 50 jobs a month and we try to do our best in servicing our customers but, sometimes there are those customer that we cannot satisfy no matter what we say.

So I filed the report above with Rip Off Report on Tuesday night after Fast Relcoation tried to renegotiate my signed binding estimate for moving costs. Then to make matters worse they charged my credit card in full on the Wednesday night not having provided any service (to my knowledge this means that they accepted the terms of the binding estimate.....)

They did not turn up the following day or any day prior to the end of the month to provide me with service and I had to hire another moving company as my lease expired and I had handed in my notice. If you can imagine trying to find a moving company the day before you move at the end of the month.

So my move cost me a fortune and was a total and absolute nightmare thanks to these guys. I cannot find the appropriate words to express the distress this caused my wife, 7 week old daughter and elderly parents!
