Fast Relocation Moving And Storage Double the Price, lost over 15 pcs. of my things, and broke or damaged the rest Reseda California

My experience with Fast Relocation was the worst. In May of 2007 I booked my move with Berry Wawkins for July 17, 2008 and after giving him a list of all my things was quoted a price of $1870 for the move. I packed everything myself with tons of newspaper in heavy boxes from McDonalds. The only thing they had to do was load up the truck once they got there. They showed up a day and 6 hours later than when they said they would be there. They used 4 rolls of tape at $4 a roll on my things and charged me $25 each for four blankets they used to rap my couch with.

Once the truck was loaded the $1870 went to $3200. They said I had more things than what my quote was for. They used little blue numbered stickers that went from 031 to 203. With 73 items I didn't understand why or how I went over the quoted price. Before leaving Barstow I gave them a check for the $1870 and was told my thing would be shipped to my new address in AR the next day.

After a month went by I called Mike and he told me my check didn't clear and he was a new one. I told him to put it thur again that the money was there. He told me he didn't have the check to that to just send him another one. So I did and before I could cancel the first check and after he received the second one he tried putting the first check thur again.

Once he had his money I was told I would have my thing by the end of the week. After a week and still no deliver I called again and once again was told I would have it by the end of the week. Six weeks went by and I still didn't have my things and every time I called I have to wail for Mike to call back maybe that day maybe not. Finally after two months of waiting they finally got here.

Not being able to get the full amount of cash out of a bank in California they took my stuff to Memphis Tennessee, over four hours away and put in storage till he got the money. Almost every day Mike called telling me the price went up another $500 and if he didn't get it he was going to sell my things for the money. Plus we were also getting calls from the drivers telling us if we paid them the money the would give us the key to the storage shed cuz Mike wasn't paying them.

When we open the door to the storage shed I couldn't believe what I saw. It looked like they just stood back and throw the stuff in. They had my couch standing on end and when they put it in they push it across the cement that tore holes in it. There were boxes that were split open as if gone throu as well as being dropped. Boxed were crushed by the TV's the put on top of them. After paying them all that money to get my stuff then seeing how they handled it just made me mad.

Once I got home with the stuff and started to unpack I found even more damage in the boxes. Things the only way they could have been broken was by dropping the box. China I got from my great grandmother that came from Germany, things I've had since I was a little girl, broken just cuz it wasn't they're's to handle with a little care.

It's going to take me a while to remember what I had but don't have now, but I do know that I'm missing boxes with the number 64, 93, 119, 127, 170, 186, 189,190, 193, 198, 201, 202, and 203. One of these item is a spoon of material, one is a very large dresser mirror, and one is about 7 paintings tied together. If you have these things or any of the boxes with these numbers on them please file a report letting me know so we can work on getting them back to me. please don't ever use this co, they well rip you off, steal your things ,mishandle and brake your sentimental idem's, " if your lucky enough to get all your things" DONT USE THEM.
