Father and Son Moving and Storage Misrepresentation and Refusal to Refund Deposit Denver, Colorado

The sales rep on the phone said they would not charge me to and from the shop.

The sales rep nor the online contract said anything about how the containers had to be packed and sealed.

The movers show up two and a half hours late.

The movers tell me that they can't move half my stuff since the boxes weren't sealed.  I am disabled and can't move my stuff.

The movers tell me that they are charging me to and from the shop, an 18% gratuity, and even though they are now estimating double the cost, they won't know exactly how much it will be until they've packed the truck and taken my belongings to my new home.  At that point if I don't have the total in cash or on a credit card that they will not open the doors and take my belongings straight to storage.

Since they said they can't move my stuff I sent them home and called customer service to get my deposit back but since I hadn't cancelled 7 days prior to the move they refused despite the fact that they waited til moving day to tell me they can't move my stuff.  Then the "manager" yelled at me saying "go ahead and take us to court".

Okay.  I will.

I would guess that you have a 5% chance that your experience with this company will be a pleasant one but mine certainly was not.
