Father And Son Moving And Storage moving ripoff Fraudulent billing Jacksonville Florida

I called Father and Son to get a price quote on moving me. I was told $79.00 an hour for a minimum of 3 hours plus 1 hour drive time. so I said OKAY so no more than $320. And the lady said yep shouldnt be.So i went ahead and made an appointment. The night before they called to confirm. Thats when they told me if you use any kind of plastic, they would add 5% from the total. I asked if that was it and he told me YES. Well so the movers came 30 minutes late, and thats when we seen the contract. They also ADD 18% of the total bill for GAS. Well not much you can do then when you already plan on moving. They arent up front about the cost at all...When i called the owner about the extra cost, he yelled at me and told me to pay his guy.So a move that I was told would be $320. was really $490. Also they damaged my daughters crib that we have had less than 9 months.

When I called them about the damaged crib I also ask why they didnt tell me about the 18% for gas and she said "they never tell people" and she giggled. They have been in jacksonville the longest cause they get all this money without telling people till the movers get there. ALSO the guys moving me told me everyone gets mad because they never tell anyone! Also everytime i went outside one guy was always sitting in the truck.Took thenm 4 HOURS to move 1080 sq feet. So if you have a bigger house be prepared to pay more. Just a big hassle. You have been warned.
