I purchased a Bumper to Bumper warranty from JM & A Group and while my vechile was still under warranty they refused to pay a claim on a short in the electrical system which caused my vechile to be UNUSABLE. WOULD NOT START!!! Also rear air condition was not working. This (WAS NOT) a power train only!!! This was a bumper to bumper. I paid a lot of money for this warranty that is useless!!!

We hear this phrase 10-15 times per day "Bumper to Bumper"

Let's be clear. There are no extended warranty contracts in the aftermarket (not just Fidelity..any extended warranty company) that are "bumper to bumper" (cover everything) The only "Bumper to Bumper" warranty is the one that comes with the vehicle when you buy it new. i/e GM 3yr 36,000 mile Bumper to Bumper warranty. So next time you are buying a car from any dealer big or small and they are trying to sell you an extended warranty and they say its a "bumper to bumper" warranty that covers everything, you'll know to correct them (and please do) and merely take 5-10 mins and read the contract before you buy it. This would make life so much better for all parties involved.. Trust me..

Sue the company that sold it to you in small claims

AUTHOR: Justanothervictim - (U.S.A.)

POSTED: Monday, September 22, 2008

You have 4 years from the date you found it was fraud. A small claims judge will throw the book at them. Just say, "It is in the statute of limitations since I discovered the fraud on (date)." If they disclosed the fine print however, you are out of luck.

Here's my experience:

I bought the 72 months, 72,000 mile coverage for $1500+ on a 2001 Mustang bought on 10-7-2002.

The coverage, depending on mileage, starts at weird times. Mine was over 6,000 miles so it started January 1, 2001 NOT the date I bought the car like I was told. The fine print was NEVER provided by World Ford Pensacola. The car was not even built by Ford until 2/2001. How can you have an extended warranty on a car that doesn't exist yet?

I took it in last week and found out that was the deal I stated above.

Well, apparently, according to World Ford Pensacola, Fidelity has changed to what I was told I was buying. Complaints of fraud perhaps?

World Ford Pensacola refused to admit their car salesmen lie so refused to honor what they sold me. Maybe they didn't know? Yes they did. They get a fat commission on it. They just ommit the details.

Fidelity's plans are overpriced since you can get the same thing from your car insurance company for about $500 not $1500+.

Avoid these crooks altogether. After reading the fine print, it's not bumper to bumper either as I was sold it.

I plan on suing in small claims against World Ford Pensacola for non-disclosure, which is fraud.
