I wish I'd researched FindaComputerGuy.com before I spent my time and gas money doing two jobs for them. And of course I have not received payment. Here's the documentation.
2005-09-02 - RO:0CE9:082920051853 - $114.75
2005-09-05 - RO:38E5:090320051146 - $229.50
I have not received a dime from them. After multiple emails and phone calls I received an email stating I could not receive payment on Sep-03-2005 RO:3270:090320051151 until the ticket was closed out.
Classic stall tactics as mentioned in the many other reports about these lowlifes. No mention at all of the two jobs that were completed, closed and signed pdf of work order uploaded etc. And the ticket they are referring to is a duplicate of one of the completed orders. They know this. Here is the note they themselves have attached to the work order.
--mharper on 09-07-05 11:32This work order was entered twice by service writer MMM. This service was already completed. RO:38E5:090320051146--end--
Here a screen shot showing the completed work.

I would stop what you are saying Linn. I have talked to you before when you called us to do a call for you. You and I talked for about hour and you did tell me that you where the owner of findacomputerguy.com. you also told me that this is a new company and we are going to make computerrepair crash. you also told me that once the work is done all you need to do is call in and close this call. Well we waited 30 days and you account never got paid. At this point we have been looking for you and now since you have responded now we can take legal action for submit for fraud with the state of Califorina. So at this point I would make sure you pay your bills and make sure you have money left over to pay your past bills. Also one more thing you where a DBA and statu of limittaions is 4 years. Also for other techs out there. If you have a dept with this man Call a PI to get a background and file for a 1099C to the IRS this will turn the dept to an Income but make sure you have proof before you file the 1099c.

I am going to personally answer this one. I was going to stay out of it, but can't do it.
I was contracted by findacomputerguy to maintain, develop new features and host findacomputerguy. I was also hired to do some of the correspondence with the end users and technicians, some thought that I did own it but I never did! I believe that if I did own it this company would have made it as the idea was interesting. This was at a time I personally was trying to figure out what to do, but didn't have the desire to run a "web site". I never did own Find A Computer Guy, or was an officer of the company. I have offered this information and documentation to the OP but he does not want to accept it or respond. The company and the ideas were sound, but did not make it. This left me holding the bag on a lot of fees that needed to be paid to me and about a three months of pay.
The above statements can be verified by looking at Dunn & Bradstreet and the whois history to FindAComputerGuy.Com
Now onto the other subject if anyone wants to come by and look at our facility in Houston and verify that we are not a scam please feel free. We have everything that we have said we have and have hit every target and goal.
Thanks,
Linn

Just a note let people know that the person who has ripped off a huge number of techs is still in operation as zogmo.com now he's hosting. I'm now in Austin and I may pay Mr. Boyd a visit. He's responsible for the theft of thousands of dollars from techs who performed work for findacomputerguy.com and were never paid. See you soon Linn.
